Enrichment runs nightly. Contacts submitted by end of day are processed after hours.
Before you begin
For the strongest chance of a match, check that each Rex contact:- Is a person contact
- Has the correct full name
- Has an address or contact details, such as a phone number or email address
How Propexa finds a match
Propexa uses the information already available in Rex:- If the contact has an address, Propexa uses it to find new contact details.
- If the contact does not have an address, Propexa uses their existing contact details to find one.
- If the contact has neither an address nor contact details, Propexa skips the contact.
Start an enrichment
1
Choose contacts in Rex
Find the person contacts you want to enrich. You can select contacts
individually or prepare a group, such as the owners on a particular street.
2
Apply the enrichment tag
Add the
Propexa Enrich tag to each selected contact. The tag tells Propexa
that the contact is ready to be processed; no other action is required.
See the Rex documentation on tagging here.3
Wait for the scheduled run
Propexa collects tagged contacts nightly and creates an
enrichment run. A contact already being processed will not be added twice.
4
Review the contact in Rex
After a successful match, Propexa writes any new contact details or address
to the existing Rex contact, removes
Propexa Enrich, and applies the
Enriched tag.Understand the result
Propexa records the outcome of each enrichment in Rex:- Reliable matching: Propexa uses the available contact and property details to identify a reliable match and avoids writing back uncertain results.
- Successful enrichment: Propexa adds any new contact details or address,
removes
Propexa Enrich, and applies theEnrichedtag. - Unsuccessful enrichment: If no suitable match is found or enrichment is
unsuccessful for another reason, no new details are added.
Propexa Enrichis removed only after two consecutive runs return the same unsuccessful result and reason; a failed, skipped, or different result restarts the confirmation. TheEnrichedtag is only applied when new information is written to Rex.
Review your enrichment results
After each run, Propexa emails you a link to a detailed breakdown of the results. You can see which contacts were enriched, skipped, failed, or had another outcome. The email comes fromhello@email.propexa.ai. Make sure you add this address
separately to your email allowlist or safe senders list so the results do not
go to spam.
Example use case
Prepare a campaign audience
Before a just-listed or just-sold campaign, tag the owners on the desired street. Propexa
processes them after hours so enriched contacts are ready for campaign kick-off the next day.

Not all my tagged contacts get enriched. Why?
Propexa only writes new details when it can identify a reliable match. A
contact may remain unenriched when there is not enough identifying
information, no suitable match is found, or the enrichment cannot be
completed. In these cases, no new details are written to Rex and the
Propexa Enrich tag follows the confirmation process described above. What happens when there is no match?

Will Propexa remove existing contact details or addresses?
No. Enrichment is additive: Propexa only adds new information and never
deletes existing contact details or addresses as part of this flow.
